Course Format: Hybrid | (FOUR total sessions - TWO in-person & TWO asynchronous)
In-Person Location: Crew Studios (3818 W Burbank Blvd, 91505)
Time: 6pm-8pm
This is progressive dance program that bridges the soulful grooves of the Funk and Soul eras with the fluid, freestyle energy of House. Each session explores foundational social dances and groove-based movement designed to deepen your connection to music through embodied practice. As the course progresses, these foundations evolve into expressive freestyle techniques.
Perfect for dancers of all levels who want to strengthen their groove, expand their movement vocabulary, and embody the spirit of the music.
This class will include two asynchronous segments and two in-person sessions for a total of FOUR sessions. The in-person sessions will be recorded and posted for asynchronous learners.
Class includes; feedback, access to online community, and counts toward Renovate’s Artisan scholarship.
