Our flagship merit based scholarship. This is apart of our initiative to empower culture bearers to be representatives for not just renovate but house dance in LA and California as a whole.

Through a combination of our application & a thorough reviewing process, we will be awarding ONE FREE ticket for our travel study to summer dance forever in Amsterdam. Our goal with this is to provided an avenue for those actively participating in cultivating their own practice as well as community in Los Angeles.

Our Artisan Scholarship recognizes dancers who demonstrate outstanding growth throughout their training journey.

To qualify, students must be enrolled in at least three Renovate or affiliate programs.

Every eligible student will be evaluated only on their development between October and May, focusing on four key criteria:

Artistic Growth | Community & Culture

IMPORTANT: This application is optional. Submitting one allows you to provide additional context and materials, but it does not guarantee an advantage. All students will be evaluated primarily on observed growth between October and May, through both scouting and submitted materials.

All applications are reviewed by Renovate leadership and affiliated staff who directly observe and support our students. This scholarship celebrates dedication, progress, and commitment to the culture we’re building together.

In honor of our first contribution given by Versastyle’s own Jackie “Miss Funk” Lopez, Renovate has initiated programming to provide financial aid to a student in need.

Through our application process we will be awarding ONE FREE ticket for our travel study to summer dance forever in amsterdam. Our goal is to provided an avenue for those with lesser means and ultimately bridging a huge gap in our current dance community in a time when we need it most.

We’re committed to making our programs accessible. Our financial aid application is a simple process designed to understand your needs, goals, and circumstances.

Each application is reviewed by an independent committee with no input from Renovate instructors or staff. This ensures a fair, unbiased selection process focused solely on supporting dancers who will benefit most from the scholarship.

This is a financial & resources initiative that extends past our scholarships and programs and aims to support dancers outside of renovate’s travel study participants.

We recognize that our specific travel studies may not work for peoples schedules, plans or finances. This initiative offers a small one time payment to a dancer or crew to support them as they travel to the relevant destination of a renovate travel study independent of renovate.

This is rewarded by a scouting process. There are no requirements or application process as the reward is not a guarantee and has no set amount. it is dependent upon surplus which we may not have.
